Cam & Groove Couplings, or Cam Lock Couplings, are popular in a wide array of vacuum and low pressure fluid applications where a hose assembly is frequently connected and removed. These couplings mate quickly and conveniently by inserting the grooved male adapter into the female cam coupling and simply closing the cam arms. A gasket inside the female coupling compresses as the cam arms close creating a tight leak free seal. Safety pins can be inserted to prevent the cam arms from accidental disconnection. Optional locking arms and dry-disconnect models are available to further reduce any potential spillage. Cam & Groove Couplings are available in a broad range of sizes, styles, & materials, and interchange between major brands in most sizes.
Available in Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Malleable Iron, Polypropylene, Nylon and select corrosion resistant metals (see below)
- Additional adapters, elbows, and reducer configurations available
- Broad range of sizes from 1/2″ through 12″
- Import, domestic &specialty series available
- Vented cam & groove, spring locking arms, and armless versions available (see below)
Not recommended for compressed gas service, including steam or air. Do not use type DC or DP in pressurized lines.

Reduce the risk of accidental disconnection with safety venting and arm-less locking cam couplings
Vent-Lock™ Safety Venting Cam Lock Couplings
EZLink™ Armless Cam Lock Couplings
Vent-Lock™ cam lock couplings lets a hose line depressurize before allowing the couplings to separate completely. EZLink couplings replace the standard cam arm with a spring-loaded tab that the operator must depress in order to disconnect, which can prevent accidental disconnection.
