Locking Universal Hose Couplings, or UniversLock™ couplings combine the safety of a sleeve activated quick disconnect coupling with the convenience and common interchange of a “Chicago” type universal hose coupling. The sleeve must be retracted before the quarter-turn can be completed to release the hose couplings from one another. Locking Universal Hose Couplings are fully compatible with standard USA interchange universal couplings, and are therefore also interchangeable between sizes. Easily connect varying diameters of hose together or to your pneumatic tool or manifold. The safety clip hole found on standard universal hose couplings is still provided for even further accident prevention. Mount on the tool connection and the compressor, along with a hose safety restraint to protect against hazardous failures and accidental disconnections.
Locking Universal Hose Couplings can be mated to one another as well for even further interchangeability and security.
Available in Male and Female NPT as well as hose barb ends, in domestic plated ductile iron
Offered in 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch sizes (minimum pack quantity applies to some styles)
Gasket is not the same as in standard universal couplings. Only use specially compatible gaskets with these couplings
