Type 6908 Hot Tar and Asphalt Hose is a rugged high temperature hose designed for transfer of asphalt, tar, glues, wax, and hot oils. The oil resistant synthetic rubber tube is formulated for abrasion and hot temperature resistance. Constructed with textile and wire reinforcement to provide kink resistant service. The rubber cover is ozone and oil resistant. 200 PSI version available in some sizes for heavy applications. Flush hose well after use with thick materials.
Assemblies are available with internally expanded full flow couplings, highly recommended for thick materials. (shown with cam lock coupling, expanded full flow couplings are brass or steel male NPT)

Tube: Special high heat synthetic rubber blend
Reinforcement: Wire Helix and Synthetic Textile
Cover: Chloroprene rubber blend (abrasion and oil resistant)
Temperature: -20 to +350 (intermittent) degrees F
NOTE: Working pressure decreases significantly as service temperature increases. Tar and asphalt service over 100 degrees will reduce the marked working pressure, inform all operators and ensure that the pressure rating (after devaluation) is appropriate.
