Type 2902C UHMW PE Chemical Hose is a premium chemical hose designed for suction and transfer of many chemical solutions and solvents. The clear and slick ultra high molecular weight (UHMW PE) polyethylene tube is abrasion resistant and will not contaminate conveyed product. A corrugated EPDM rubber cover offers higher flexibility than traditional smooth-cover chemical hose, along with weather resistant properties. A dual wire helical reinforcement* offers durability, full vacuum capability, and kink resistance. UHMW PE chemical hose is also available in green cover (most sizes).While the tube is non-marking, the hose does not carry an FDA rating, do not use with food, beverage, or pharmaceuticals.

Chemical hose best practices:
- In some applications the tube material may be resistant to the chemical being conveyed but not the hose cover. In these cases be careful not to expose the outside surface of the hose.
- Test chemical compatibility before putting hose into service, even if the hose material shows to be compatible.
- Inspect chemical hose regularly and remove from service before a failure occurs.
- When possible, store chemical hose so that air can circulate through it to prolong hose-life.
