Bowes interchange hose couplings offer a safe and secure positive locking feature for pneumatic hose connections. A quarter-turn and audible click allows for a fast reliable connection. A retractable sleeve on the male nipple prevents accidental disconnection under pressure, with no separate safety pin required. Bowes interchange fittings, also known as Dix-Lock, N-Series, or MacDonald quick couplings, are interchangeable between sizes 1/2 through 1 inch, allowing for varying sizes of hose to be connected. Pneumatically energized nitrile rubber seal allows for leak-proof performance and higher working pressure limitations. Optional safety-lock feature offers threaded backup ring that prevents the retractable sleeve from being released until it is manually retracted.
