Furnace Door Hose is designed to withstand extreme exterior heat in water supply applications often found in steel mills, glass-works, and foundries. Arc furnaces and melt shops put unique challenges on furnace door hoses. Capital Rubber offers high temperature solutions for furnace door applications including 1 and 2 ply Nomex cover and fiberglass cover hose types. Nomex-cover hoses can withstand 600 degree external temperatures. A 1000 degree (external temperature) rated fiberglass-cover hose can be custom built for extreme temperature applications. Either hose style can be made with a standard or non-conductive tube. Hard-wall (wire reinforced) furnace door hose is also available.

Additional custom options include a silicone wrap to provide a smooth surface and improved molten slag resistance (can be installed across entire length of hose or in specific areas prone to molten splatter). Hose can also be manufactured with a special non-conductive plastic helix. Additional plies of fiberglass or Nomex can be applied to entire lengths or specific segments to improve performance in specific challenging installations. Hoses can be manufactured with built in ends for a long lasting ready to install solution.
