Type 5800 Elephant Trunk Hose is a premium quality gum rubber lined hose designed for the transfer of highly abrasive materials. Use elephant trunk hose for gravity-drop and low pressure conveyance of cement, cinders, and other abrasives. Elephant trunk hose often acts as a chute in small lengths to contain and direct dry materials when transferring to a hopper or conveyor system. For these applications we can offer lengths as short as 2 feet.
Also available as textile reinforced or plain pure gum tube (no separate hose cover). This hose can be manufactured with a thicker wall, and in large diameters to meet a variety of custom installations.
